There are three types of visa work permit that Singapore offers:
Employment Pass (EP): | If you get a job in Singapore, then your employer has to apply for this visa on your behalf. According to your qualification and experience, you will get an Employment Pass (EP). You can also apply for S Pass in this category.

Personalized Employment Pass (PEP): | If you are a current EP holder or your employer is an overseas employer, then you are eligible for this pass. If you get this pass, you can stay in Singapore for six months. This card is valid for years and is non-renewable. |
Dependent's Pass: | If your spouse or parentsP or PEP holders then you are eligible to get this pass. As this pass holder, you can work in Singapore without any visa. Then you need LOC (Letter of Consent) that must be applied through your employer.
